Canceling of Apt Transfer Contract

Postby kleeklee92 » Wed Dec 16, 2015 20:16

So, I recently found out that my elderly mom was strong-armed into signing away a transfer of ownership of her apartment to one of my cousins while I was back in the US finishing school. The thing is, though, I'm sure that they haven't submitted the document, yet, so is it at all possible for me to ask that the contract not be honored? Or can I ask that if they can shred the document should they receive it? My mom and my cousin are both ROC citizens and I'm not too well versed in Taiwanese law. Thanks for the help!
