These look like cool tips:

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Jump in the ocean. Say the truth that you’re carrying in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There’s no time for anything else

Someone on a FB parents group here has made this and there was some discussion about safety. I think it's pretty neat. Kids also love doorbells and light switches and I'm pretty sure the one I saw had those.

Parents who make them just need to take responsibility for making sure things that are wired are safe and screws don't come loose, etc.

Well, I was a cool Mom, so I let kids play with real stuff. Real locks and phones and dishes and flashlights (torches).. These activity 'areas' usually get boring after a bit - ditto with play wallets - they want the real thing. So I would rather they play with my calculator - than it being glues to a board.

It's also a very Montessori activity so we do give kids a lot of nuts and bolts!!!

I agree, the real thing is more fun but do you also remember your child asking you to lift him up so he could press the doorbell again and again? Same with the lightswitch and the door latch for me.

And mine was a fatso. I wonder how I still retain a spine.

No kidding. I went to a blind masseuse several years ago and he said he could tell that when I carried my children, I favored one hip.
