Red sea of cars make way for ambulance

This is a pet peeve of mine. I had complained so much in the past about this, how it seems Taiwanese hate ambulances, hate giving way for ambulances, thought they were presumptuous for wanting the right of way, etc. instead of the attitude in other countries where drivers make way for the ambulance. It seems that since the Formosa Fun Water Park explosions, there has been a change -that time, common citizens made human chains to keep the endless stream of ambulances coming and going. The example has been followed, as this "parting of the car sea" a la Moses shows:

Kudos to them drivers. Glad to point something so positive.

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Jump in the ocean. Say the truth that you’re carrying in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There’s no time for anything else

It's an improvement, but it's still sluggish compared to countries with a more advanced driving culture.
