How much do we rock? We'd love to hear your story about how Taiwaneasia saved your life, your marriage, your job, etc!
Ignore Divea, she is having one of those days.
As much as I like the drama it would be nice if we could turn it in to dharma.
This is what passes for drama around here? Good thing I dropped by for a cuppa tea(se).
On the flob, they have actors exiting with great conviction, stumbling back in for quick comic bits only to exit with great conviction anon and anon. Hell there's a prodigal son theme going on keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. Is he hero or antihero. Possibly a villain. Wouldn't be that much of a twist. Can't be sure yet, it's only ACT II....but oh the drama....
but not Dharma and Greg, because that was piss poor.
I think what is currently passing for drama is a prolonged battle between two posters that a) has spanned THREE forums and b) really could be sorted out in private. Nobody wants to pick a side here.
Again, sorry for your shitty welcome. Any way we can achieve in making it up to you, sir?
Haven't we done the dance on tealit yet?
No sir, kind of you to offer, but I have no problem with you guys. It's like the summer of 67 in here, my first impression notwithstanding. Jia Yo.
Social Assassin, I enjoyed the discussion you've linked but didn't comment because I had nothing worthwhile to post. It was a good discussion and so what if not everyone agreed with you, I'm sure it wasn't personal. Those who commented are all (or mostly) newcomers to this site and in no way represent Taiwanease, not really.
I've been a user at the other site since December 1999 (back when it was oriented.org, and before it became segue.com and segued to forumosa) There's been an awful lot of nonsense posted and discussed there. I don't think I've ever really been made to feel welcome but that's never kept me from getting what I needed, and trying to contribute more than I get. Edit: Forgot to add that I've met some wonderful people through the flob and made some great friends.
As for divea's original post, modding here at the T'ease is less pressure for me in some ways because I have been demoted from Admin to mere Mod and in other ways more pressure because the other moderators take their "jobs" much more seriously than I do, tidying up here and there, and referring to rules. But I am eternally grateful for their hard work and dedication, and proud to be a small part of such a committed team. I have to say I am especially proud of our Tech team because ROCK!!! (And I could never have afforded them pre-Tease)
