1) Please search before posting. Note that you should also search content-relevant forums (like Food & Drink for those items, and not just WCIF). If there is a content-relevant forum, the thread should be there, not here.

2) Please append your request to an existing thread if you find a stale one, rather than starting a new one.

3) Please post separately for each search item, not one thread for "olives and sour cream". Two threads, one for each. This makes it much easier for the moderator to merge your thread with an existing one, if any.

Of course, if you still can't find what you're looking for, please do feel free to post, and we'll do our very best to help you find what you need. If you have any trouble using the search function or the forum, please don't hesitate to send a PM (private message) to the Where Can I find...? moderator (right now, that's me, Dragonbones) asking for help. A repairman for my (western-size) Magic Chef gas oven

Postby maoman » Tue Nov 04, 2014 18:18

It's a great oven, but it's not heating right anymore. I'd like to get it fixed so I can start eating my favourite casseroles again. Any suggestions for a repair shop?

The Fixit shop
2871-4928

One of the oldest appliance repair shops in the in the Tian mou area so they should have experience with western style ovens.

Thanks for the information! They say they won't have time till the middle of next month, but at least they're willing to come and have a look!

I got the range at 明祥電器行 in Tianmu, but it looks like they're not in business anymore. I get a fax when I call their number: 2834-7378.

Crap, the oven is broken. (Stovetop still works fine). And I can't remember who I got to fix it last time! Grrrr.
