The Cheng Nan-jung Liberty Museum was officially inaugurated on Human Rights Day, 1999, in commemoration of his quest for 100% freedom of speech. The museum has faithfully reconstructed the site where Cheng immolated himself on April 7 1989, in protest against the government's violation of the freedom of expression.

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Admission is free.

為了紀念鄭南榕追求百分之百的言論自由,鄭南榕紀念館於1999年國際人權日開館。紀念館完整呈現鄭南榕自焚遺址(1989年4月7日),在肅穆的空間內,展示鄭南榕生前手稿、遺物及自由時代雜誌,供民眾憑弔追思,並見證思想言論受箝制的時代。紀念館是追求自由、獨立象徵的全球傳媒的博物館,更是將鄭南榕的自由精神永遠延續的媒介。
